摘要: 根据分形几何理论并借鉴前人研究的成果,提出了一种基于GIS软件平台的数字地图曲线长度纠正法.详细讨论了该纠正法的原理及实现过程,并利用多种比例尺资料对我国海岸线长度进行了量算和纠正,结果表明该方法可以使数字地图的量算误差得到明显的改善.

Abstract: A fractal method based on GIS was presented. The length of Chinese coastline was measured from different scale maps and corrected with the method. The results show that the fractal method can obviously improve the measurement accuracy from digital maps.
