Ziqi Chen (谌自奇) is a Research Professor, Zijiang Young Scholar, and Ph.D. supervisor in East China Normal University. He is interested in high-dimensional statistical analysis, functional (longitudinal) data analysis, survival analysis, machine learning, neural networks, and causal inference. He has led two National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) projects, one NSFC youth project, one Shanghai Natural Science Foundation project, and one Hunan Provincial Natural Science Foundation project. From 2016 to 2019, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Biostatistics, Anderson Cancer Center in the United States. He has published 20 papers in internationally esteemed statistical journals such as JASA, Biometrics, Statistica Sinica, Scandinavian Journal of Statistics, as well as conferences such as AAAI and IJCNN.
