Rui Peng (彭锐) is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Economics and Management, Beijing University of Technology. The main research areas are energy system risk assessment and policy optimization. Has published more than 120 SCI journal papers, 5 monographs, and presided over or participated in 8 National Natural Science Funds or major national science and technology projects. He is elected as elsevier highly cited scholar from 2018-2022， and top 2% scientist in 2022. He is in editorial board of Reliability Engineering & System Safety, Quality & Reliability Engineering International.
