Jun Wu (吴俊) is an associate researcher affiliated with the School of Life Science at East China Normal University in Shanghai, China. His specialism is bioinformatic and system biology, including 1) developing & utilizing deep-learning based methods to uncover the unknown species and protein functions; 2) integrating multi-omics data to identify tumor biomarkers and exploring the regulatory relationship. He received the Ph.D degree in control science and engineering from the Shanghai Jiao Tong University. From 2016 to 2018, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the School of Biomedical Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He has led one National Science Foundation of Chian and one Shanghai “Key Project of Soft Science” under the “Science and Technology Innovation Action Plan”. He has published over 30 papers in Science Advance, Nucleic acid research, Genome Biology, Environmental Research, and Computational and Structural Biotechnology Journal, among others.
