The 2021 International Workshop on Statistical Theory and Related Fields (STARF2021) will be held at East China Normal University, Shanghai, China, from 10-12 December 2021. Due to the national requirements for epidemic prevention and control of large conferences in China, the conference will be held online. The conference aims to provide participants with a platform for academic exchange on modern statistical theory, methods and applications.

The conference will be hosted jointly by East China Normal University (ECNU), the Editorial Board of Statistical Theory and Related Fields,  the Big Data Statistics Branch of Chinese Association for Applied Statistics (中国现场统计研究会, CAAS), and Key Laboratory of Advanced Theory and Application in Statistics and Data Science of the Ministry of Education (统计与数据科学前沿理论及应用教育部重点实验室).

There will be a conference keynote presentation and parallel session presentations, and participants are requested to submit their registration form (click here to download) to conference email starf@ecnu.edu.cn by 30 November 2021. Participants who wish to present at the conference are requested to send their abstracts (click template to download) to the above email address, with the subject line "STARF2021 Conference Abstracts". Notification of acceptance will be sent by 30 October 2021 for papers that meet the conference theme. There will be an additional award for excellent conference papers. Authors who intend to participate in the selection of excellent conference papers should send the full text to the above email address, and the excellent conference papers approved by the experts of the organizing committee will be recommended for publication in journals such as Statistical Theory and Related Fields, Applied Probability and Statistics (应用概率统计, in Chinese) and Mathematical Statistics and Management (数理统计与管理, in Chinese) with priority.
