The Second International Workshop on Statistical Theory and Related Fields (STARF2023) will be held in Nankai University from July 7-9, 2023, following the success of STARF2021, held in East China Normal University in 2021. This conference will be conducted in a combination of offline and online. The goal of this workshop is to provide a platform for academic exchange of modern statistical theories, methods and applications and accelerate the pace of Statistical Theory and Related Fields becoming a world-class statistical academic journal.

STARF2023 will be hosted jointly by Editorial Office of Statistical Theory and Related Fields, and co-sponsored by Chinese Association for Applied Statistics (CAAS) with School of Statistics, East China Normal University, School of Statistics and Data Science, Nankai University.

There will be a conference keynote presentation and parallel session presentations, and participants are requested to register on the website (https://xblk.ecnu.edu.cn/starf-2023/Passport/Login). Participants who wish to present at the conference are requested to submit their abstracts in the system by June 25. Notification of acceptance will be sent by July 1 for papers that meet the conference theme. There will be an additional award for excellent conference papers. Authors who intend to participate in the selection of excellent conference papers should submit the full text to the above website, and the excellent conference papers approved by the experts of the organizing committee will be recommended for publication in journals such as Statistical Theory and Related Fields, Applied Probability and Statistics (应用概率统计, in Chinese) and Mathematical Statistics and Management (数理统计与管理, in Chinese) with priority.
