摘要： 证明了，环R视potent环当且仅当其素谱Spec(R)允许一个开闭pi基且幂等元模J(R)可提升，从而得到了potent环和semipotent环之间的一个等价刻画

Abstract: This paper proved that a ring R is potent iff Spec(R) has a clopen pi-base and
its idempotents can be lifted modulo J(R). The result gives a characterization of potent
rings.
