Abstract: Adsorption and persistence capacity of humic acid and pyrene on two kind of paddy soils had no obvious difference. The order of adsorption and persistence capacity of humic acid was that soil > black carbon > cauterant soil. It was similar between the soil and its black carbons on the adsorption capacity of pyrene. The Freundlich equation and partition coefficients (Kf) could reflect it better. Hydrophobic or hydrophilic properties of paddy soil and its black carbons were the main factors on the adsorption proerties of humic acid and pyrene.

Key words: black carbon, humic acid, pyrene, adsorption property, paddy soils, black carbon, humic acid, pyrene, adsorption property
