Abstract: Publications and Citations of the Journal of East China Normal University (Natural Science Edition) is studied. The publication statistics of the journal since its establishment in 1955 is presented. Also presented are data of citations of the journal by CNKI during 1998~2005 and by SCI since 1980. The purpose of the study is to have a better understanding of our journal and to find ways to improve it.
