Fractal Method for Correcting the Length of Map Curves(Chinese)

Abstract: A fractal method based on GIS was presented. The length of Chinese coastline was measured from different scale maps and corrected with the method. The results show that the fractal method can obviously improve the measurement accuracy from digital maps.
