Abstract: Polarization dependence of terahertz (THz) extraordinary transmission from a flexible C-shape split-ring resonance (C-shape SRR) is investigated. When the THz polarization is perpendicular to the gap of C-shape SRR, a single-peak resonance is observed owing to the inductive-capacitive (LC) resonance. When the THz polarization is parallel to the gap of C-shape SRR, a periodic multiple resonances phenomenon is observed. The simulation of the electric density distribution and surface current indicate that the asymmetric Fabry-P\'{e}rot effect of the C-shape SRR attributes to the periodic resonances.
