Abstract: The electrochemical behavior of p-Nitroanisole on copper electrode in methanol-H2O solution was investigated by cyclic voltammetry and chronocoulometry. The influences of scan rate, concentration and temperature on the electrochemical behavior were discussed. It was showed that the reduction of p-nitroanisole on copper electrode was a diffusion-controlled irreversible process. The diffusion coefficient D of pNitroanisole in methanol-H2O solution was 1.03×10-5cm2/s, while the transfer coefficient was 0.26.
