Abstract: According to the Lindemann′s law and the approximate condition that the quantity αBT is a constant above the Debye temperature, this paper proposed a method to calculate the melting temperature of crystals at high pressure,and calculated the melting temperatures at different pressure for three crystals (LiF, NaCl and Al). The results show that the agreement between the melting curves calculated and the experimental data is good.
