Identification of Laguerre Model and Design Variable for Time-varying Systems(2) ------Kalman filter algorithms
    DING Zhao-hong;SHA Quan;YUAN Zhen-dong
    Journal of East China Normal University(Natural Sc    2003, 2003 (1): 25-30.
    Abstract2561)
It is supposed that the time-varying parameters included in the system are stationary AR(1) variable. The estimate of the mean square error (MSE) of transfer function for time-varying Laguerre model is discussed. The approximate expression of MSE for Kalman filter algorithms can be derived under following assumptions:the dynamic of the system is slowly changing, the adaptation is also quite slow and the order of model system is high enough. Using Laguerre model instead of FIR model, the MSE will be reduced and the order of Laguerre model is reduced as well. The optimization problems for design variables of time-varying system identification algorithms are discussed.

This article introduces a new application of Genetic Algorithm in the field of remote sensing (Signal's data classifier). Based on Simple Genetic Algorithm, an improved performance could be attained through the data mining process with necessary object-related information from a seties of EM radar signal images. After the preprocessing stage, the target's lacating task could be modeled into a curve imitation process. Beyond the heredity from SAG, expert knowledge and environment conditions are put into consideration in the practical problem resolution. We suggest a possible way to locate the underground object in the relics detecting field. Compare with ordinary calssifier method GA is better on speed and accuracy of searching on target. In further work we shall pattern 3-D model of the relics using complex GA.

    Abstract2988)
CuO/TiO2 nanoparticles were prepared with hydrothrmal method and characterized by means of X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Transmission electronmicroscopy (TEM). The photocatalytic properties of the immobilization of CuO/TiO2 nanoparticles were assessed by measuring the photodegration of Rhodamine 6G in aqueous solution. These immobilization of CuO/TiO2 nanoparticles showed much higher photoactivity than immobilization of TiO2 nanoparticles. Results of this study also indicate that the photodegradative mechanisms are that the doping of Cu2+ in TiO2 nanoparticles made the ability of TiO2 particles adsorbed Oxggen enhance, and decreaded the recombination of photogenerated electrons and photogenerated hole in the interface of nanoparticles. Therefore the photogenerated reactions were accelerated. In addition, the results that the polluted water was treated with CuO/TiO2 nanoparticles wre exciting and promising.

A novel chemically modified ultramicroelectrode os described for the detection of cytochrome Cin this paper. Firstly, ethidene diamine(ED) was eletropolymerized on the surface of carbon fiber ultramicroelectrode(UME),and then gold colloid nano particles was deposited on the surface(Au/ED/UME). At last, we dipped the Au/ED/UME into the potassium iodide solution and then the iodide ion was absorbed onto the surface of Au/ED/UME. The electrochemical behavior of the prepared modified I-/Au/ED/UME was studied. The chemically modified UME, which was used as working electrode, has good electrocatal reduction of cytochrome c with a detection limit of 3.2×10-7mol/L and a linear concentration range of 6.5×10-7~1.2×10-5mol/L(vs.SCE). We think it has great potential for application for in vivo studying of cytochrome C.

Open Boundary Condition Considered Residula Current and Tidal Current Simultaneously in Ocean Model
    ZHU Jian-rong;FU De-jian
    Journal of East China Normal University(Natural Sc    2003, 2003 (1): 81-85.
    Abstract3969)
It's needed to consider the effect of tidal current in order to numerically simulate the circulation realisically in a shallow sea, because the tidal mixing and tide-induced residual current have an important effect on the circulation. It's needed to set the current speed for the open boundary condition in stead of set the water level in order to balance of water volume flowing in and out the calculated domain. First, we verify the consistent of the tide and tidal current in the calculated domain in the case of open boundary condition with tidal level and tidal current. Then we consider the composition of the residual current and tidal current. It's necessary to verify numerically that whether we can give out the open boundary condition with the composition of residual current and tidal current simultaneously. Applied the ECOM, the numerical experiment with the tidal current open boundary codition shows that results are consistent with the tidal level open boundary condition by designing an idealized bay. It is successful to simulate the distribution of residual current in the case of considering the residual current and tidal current at the open boundary simultaneously. The conclusion in this paper can be referenced for the numerical calculation of current in the case of composition of residual current and tidal current.

In order to study the antioxidation effects of grape seed procyanidins extract (GPE), seven chemiluminescence systems were used to determine the protective effect of GPE on DNA damage caused by ·OH and the scavenging effect of GPE on O2-、OH、H2O2 and ONOO- , and various reactive oxygen species produced during "respiration burst" of whole blood phagocytes. The inhibiting effect of GPE on lipid peroxidation was evaluated by using the colorimetric system of lipoprotein polyunsaturated fatty acids peroxidation induced by Fe2+. The experiments showed that GPE can effectively scavenge O2-、OH、H2O2 ,ONOO- and various reactive oxygen species prouduced during "respiration burst" of whole blood phagocytes, and inhibit lipid peroxidation (IC50s are 0.2ug/ml、90ug/ml、0.5ug/ml、10ug/ml、130ug/ml、70ug/ml respectively); the inhibiting rate of DNA oxidative damage is approximately 70%, when GPE at a concentration of 25ug/ml is given. These results indicate that GPE os an efficient antioxidant and can effectively scavenge various free radicals and provide effective protection anfinst DNA damage caused by ·OH.

The study deals with the changes of physiological characteristics(Photosynthetic, Exhaustion rate, Membrane permeability, Peroxidase activities, Ascorbate peroxidase actibities and root cativities) with different supplementation of PH of Heptacodium miconioides. There are 7 kinds of PH treatments (3,3.5,4,4.5,5,5.5,6,6.5,7,7.5,8,8.5)in our experiment. The results indicated that under PH 5.5 treatment, photosynthetic efficiency (Pn),respiratory intensity (Er), root activities (RA) and the activities of peroxidase (POD)、catalase(CAT)、ascorbate peroxidase (AP) of Heptacodium miconides leaves are the highest, and membrane permeability (MP) of Heptacodium miconioides leaves are the lowest. The growth of Heptacodium miconides is more favorable under PH 5.5 treatment. When PH of water medium is lower or higher than PH 5.5 ,it is disadvantageous to the growth of Heptacodium miconides.

Impact of the Estuarine Funnel Shape on the Estuarine Circulation and Saltwater Intrusion
    ZHU Jian-rong;HU Song
    Journal of East China Normal University(Natural Sc    2003, 2003 (2): 68-73.
    Abstract3588)
Using an improved ECOM model, designing an idealized strait and funnel-shape estuary, the impact of the estuarine funnel shape on the estuarine circulation and saltwater intrusion is studied. The saltwater intusion produces salinity front, there exists a land-ward density induced current under the salinity front, and the current speed at the upper layer obviously enhances due to mass continuty through the transverse section. There is a northward component of current at upper layer and a southward component of current at lower layer, this indicates that there exists transverse circulation. The salinity front induced by saltwater intrusion inclines northwestward horizontally that means the saltwater intrusion at the north coast of the estuary is stronger than at the south coast, and inclines toward upstream vertically that means the salwater intrusion at the lower layer is stronger than at upper layer. The higher salt water locates at the lower layer and near the north coast. The dynamic factors of saltwater intrusion are the tidal flood current, the land-ward density current and mixing. The Coriolis force makes the flood current deflect to the north coast, and the land-ward density current exists at the lower layer, those dynamic mechanism result in asymmetry distribution of salinity. The baroclinic pressure gradient force induced by the salinity distribution in transverse section directs the south coast and increases with the water depth, this results in the current at botton layer flows to the south coast. In order to keeping mass conservation, the divergence at bottom layer and north coast produces upwelling and rise of water level. This transverse distribution of water level makes the surface current flows northward, the above dynamic process induces a transverse circulation. The current divergence induced by the spreading width of funnel -shape estuary inner the mouth makes the current weaken and produces upwelling, the distance of land-ward flow of density current at bottom layer reduces, the salinity near the mouth increase, but the saltwater intrusion weakens; There exists obvious higher saltwater at the botton layer and south coast of the funnel-shape estuary; The vertical mixing enhances, and salinity tends to uniform vertically.

The Tidal Bore on the North Banch of Changjiang Estuary and Its Effects on the Estuary
    CHEN Shen-liang;CHEN Ji-yu;GU Guo-chuan
    Journal of East China Normal University(Natural Sc    2003, 2003 (2): 74-80.
    Abstract3275)
The development, characteristics and cause of the tidal bore on the North Branch of Changjiang Estuary are expounded based on survey and measured data. The hydraulic jump can be distinguished using the Froude number. When the fliid tidal current velocity exceeds the propagation velocity of tidal wave, the water particles transfer the kinetic energy to the potential energy, therefore the water level abruptly jump and forms bore. Further analysis suggests that narrowed river channel increase flood current velocity and silted riverbed slows down tidal wave propagation velocity. The river channel of the North Branch of Changjiang Estuary has been narrowed and its bed has been silted for recent years because of natural processes and artificial actions, which are the main causes of increased bore frequency and strength. With the bore head advance, a great amount of saltwater and sediments flow upstream. It has profound effects on the river channel evolution and environment of the estuary.

In order to study the relationship between vegetative cell and resting cyst, RAPD method was selected. The result revealed that: the polymorphic fragments amplified with primers S176、S267、S217、S259 and S319 share the same fragments, but the other primers such as S283、S180、S61、S64、S17、S55、S38、S30、S23 and S28 have deferent amplied fragments. There are 84 fragments were amplified by 15 random primers. In these fragments, both vegetative cell and resting cyst mtDNA have 28 similar fragments. The similarity values is 66.67%. It is implied that though there is similarity between mtDNA of vegetative cell and resting cyst, some changes may occurred in resting cyst mtDNA, these changes may be related to the function of resting cyst mitochondrion.

    Journal of East China Normal University(Natural Sc    2003, 2003 (3): 1-8.
    Abstract2611)
In this paper, the concept of simplest filiform Lie algebra is introduced and properties of n-dimensional simplest filiform Lie algebra g are discussed. A filiform Lie algebra g over any field F is referred to as simplest if its Lie multiplication between elements of an adapted basis is trivial except for ones defining the basis. Almost all discussions in the article are under the assumption o dim g≥4. A realization of such a Lie algebra g is given and derivation algebra Der g is determined. It is proved that if for the base field F, its characteristic is zero or p>n-2 the derivation algebra Der g is a solvable complete Lie algebra.Automorphism groups of simplest filiform Lie algebra are determined and it is proved that it is proved that they are centerless and solvable if ∣F∣≥n. At the end of the paper ,it is shown that the simplest filiform moludar Lie algebra g is restrictable if and only if n<p+2. And for the nonrestricable case a minimal p-envelope of g is given.

In our experiment of investigating the primary structure of ITS1 of Eriocheir japonica. sinensis the intra-individual size polymorphism was detemined at first, but further study showed that the polymorphism was an artifact, which was due to PCR primers mismatching. This conclusion was finally demonstrated by verifying conditions of PCR and reamplifying the ITS1 domain using redesigning primer that was corresponding to 5.8S rDNA sequences of E. japonica. sinensis that obtained in this study. The nucleotide sequence of the ITS1 of E.japonica sinensis has been firstly determined in this species.

    Journal of East China Normal University(Natural Sc    2003, 2003 (3): 69-74.
    Abstract3352)

Forest fragmentation may lead deleterious consequences for plant community.Species richness and composition of fragmented, peninsular and continuous evergreen broad-leaved forests were investigated to evaluate fragmentation effects. Fragmented torests contain more apecies than continuous forests with comparable areas.Species richness is lowest in peninsular plots. Peninsular forests have few or comparable species richness. There are more exotic species (cultivated and escaped) in fragmented and peninsular plots than in continuous forests. Our study shows that patch size plays important role in species richness and composition. However, the surrounding matrix, time experiencing fragmentation and human disturbance also affect the plant species and composition. Liana is very low in disturbed peninsular forests and refllects the worse forest quality. It may be a useful indicator for conservation and management of evergreen broad-leaved forests under intensive human disturbance areas in eastern China.

During the summer of 2001 and 2002, we studied three typical summering avian communities in twenty-seven habitats that belong to subtropical cultivated land, wetland and forestland habitats within the auburb area of Shanghai. 68 species, which belonged to 11 orders,25 families, were recorded in three habitats. The total average density of birds is 2.7237/hm2 ,The Shannon-wiener index(H)is 2.2815, species evenness(J) is 0.5407, C index is 0.2254. In three typical habitats, the diversity index(3.0759) in wetland area is higher than others, but the density (0.8495) is lower than others. On the contrary, the diversity index (1.6464) in cultivated land is lower than others but the density (4.9608) is higher than others. Meanwhile, the species of forest birds is few comparatively. The results showed that that teh density will be rose up through improving naturalness of enviroment, increasing spatial heterogeneity and reducing the disturbance of human beings.

    Abstract3290)
From October 1999 to July 2001,this study investigated the effects of dredging on the community and structure of the micro-invertebrate in Huangdu and Huacao on headwaters of Suzhou creek. The result was that Mollusca and Oligochaeta were dominant in the both sites. Before dredging, there were six species of Mollusca, tree species of Oligochaeta and one of Hirudinea in Huangdu, and one Mollusca and four Oligochaetas in Huacao. After dredging, more species of invertebrate were found. In Huangdu, there was one species more than before, and in Huacao, there were four species more than before. So the recovery of the species in Huacao is more obvious. Dredging removed the density and biomass of the community, but the diversity of the community was increasing graduallu in one year. Furthermore, exponentisl of diversity of dredged was always higher than before in Huacao. But in Huangdu, it wasn't higher than before until half year later. It is suggested that dredging in headwaters of Suzhou creek help for the recovery of the community of micro-invertebrate.

Taking Jing'an district of downtown in Shanghai as an example, the paper selected 580 catering and service industries in four seasons of 2000 and analyzed discharge levy according to cover 1000 monitoring data. The case study shows: ①The accumulative pollution load proportion of CODcr and Oil exceeds 95%, so they are the typical pollution factors in wasterwater. These trade that discharge wastewater above 1000tons per month are main pollutant headstreams for their total pollution load proportion is beyond 60%. The relationship betweenpollutant concentrations and scales of enterprises is negative and the concentrations are much thicker in amount of small scales trades. ② The relationship between the discharge levy amount and the total pollution load retains a highly positive correlation. The unit price ascends with increasing pollution load containing in per ton wastewater and they significantly accords with cubic estimation model. ③ The average unit price in Jing'an district at the level of 0.26yuan is lower than the average pollution abatement cost of 0.56yuan in wastewater plants in Shanghai.Based on above data analysis, the paper discussed regulating approaches on discharge levy of catering and service industries, such as implementation of all-out levy, combination of total quantity and concentration controlling, et al.It intends to supply external foundations for discharge levy standard and monitoring model in catering and service industries.

Based on the analysis of the observed hydrological data in March of 1996 in the Chagnjiang Estuary, the following results are concluded. In the North Branch, the velocity of the flood current is obviously larger than that of the ebb current, the residual current land-ward flows, and there exists serious saltwater instrusion from outer sea and from the upstream,i.e., from the North Branch, and is different with the variation pattern in regular estuary. The salinity is mainly influenced by the saltwater instrusion from outer sea during spring and early middle tide ,and by the saltwater instrusion from upsteam during neap and later middle tide. At the lower reachesof the South Branch, the the velocity of the ebb current is larger than that of the flood current and the ebb tide duration is longer than that of the flood. The maximum salinity occurs at the flood slack, and the minimum salinity occurs at the ebb slack. The salinity variation is affected by the saltwater intrusion from the outer sea, the hydrology obeys normal variation pattern in regular estuary.

The trend of ecological succession was studied for the past 50 years in Taihu Lake. With the passage of time ,the water quality has been worsening and sediment thickening ,while the density of phytoplankton has been increasing, species richness decreasing with the smaller species becoming dominant. The trophic status shows the tendency from meso-eutrophic type to near eutrophication.Potamogeton malialaianus was the dominant species of submerged plants in 1950s,but the rate of swamp forming is more rapidly due to the increasing sedimentation and rapid growing of emerging plant and leaf-floating plant after 1990s.Density and biomass of benthos raised from 1959 to 1989, but natural resources and biomass of mollusca reduced after 1990s rapidly because of pen fish culture and excessive catching, total yield of fisheries continued to raise.Since 1984,pen fish culture converted from extensive models to intensive ones, the culture species were shifted from regular species to high valued species, from heavy pollution and enviroment-hostile to ecological types. The comprehensive control and ecosystem rebuilding in Taihu Lake must be emphasized and carried out so as to maintain the sustainable development of lake resource.
